Terms and Conditions of Training Course Participation
These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your participation in training courses provided by Ratio (“the Company”). By enrolling in and attending our training courses, you agree to abide by these Terms.
1. Enrollment and Registration:
1.1 To enroll in a training course, you must complete the registration process and provide accurate and complete information.
1.2 Enrollment is subject to availability, and the Company reserves the right to refuse enrollment at its discretion.
2. Payment:
2.1 Payment for training courses is due upon registration unless otherwise specified. If a course is being booked using a company purchase order then 30 days payment terms will be applied for public and private company courses, but if a public course attendance is due to start within 30 days of the booking date, then the course fee will be payable 7 days prior to the course start date.
2.2 Fees are non-refundable except as provided in the cancellation policy outlined in section 4 below.
2.3 The Company reserves the right to modify course fees at any time, but changes will not affect registrations already paid.
3. Course Content and Materials:
3.1 The Company will provide course content and materials as described in the course outline.
3.2 Course materials are for personal use only and may not be reproduced or distributed without prior written consent from the Company.
4. Cancellation and Refunds:
4.1 Cancellations made by participants must be submitted in writing to the Company.
4.2 Refunds will be issued according to the following schedule:
Cancellations made 15 days or more before the course start date: 100% refund
Cancellations made less than 14 days before the course start date: no refund, but the option to transfer to a new course date £ 500 fee (public course), further fees may be incurred for private courses.
4.3 The Company reserves the right to cancel or reschedule courses due to unforeseen circumstances. In such cases, participants will be notified as soon as possible, and refunds will be issued if the course cannot be rescheduled.
5. Attendance and Participation:
5.1 Participants are expected to attend all scheduled sessions of the training course.
5.2 Late arrivals may be admitted at the discretion of the trainer, but missed sessions will not be rescheduled, and no refunds will be issued.
5.3 Participants are expected to actively engage in course activities and discussions.
6. Conduct:
6.1 Participants must conduct themselves in a professional and respectful manner at all times.
6.2 Disruptive behavior, including but not limited to harassment, discrimination, or violation of intellectual property rights, will not be tolerated and may result in immediate expulsion from the course without refund.
7. Intellectual Property:
7.1 All course materials, including but not limited to presentations, handouts, and exercises, are the intellectual property of the Company and may not be reproduced or distributed without prior written consent.
7.2 Participants retain ownership of any work created or contributed during the course, but grant the Company a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use such work for educational and promotional purposes.
8. Liability:
8.1 The Company will not be liable for any loss, damage, or injury arising from participation in its training courses, except in cases of gross negligence or willful misconduct.
8.2 Participants are responsible for their own safety and well-being during the course and should notify the trainer of any health or safety concerns.
9. Amendments:
9.1 The Company reserves the right to amend these Terms at any time. Any changes will be effective immediately upon posting on the Company’s website or other communication channels.
9.2 Participants are responsible for reviewing these Terms periodically for updates.
10. Governing Law and Jurisdiction:
10.1 These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England & Wales.
10.2 Any dispute arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England & Wales.
By enrolling in a training course offered by the Company, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to abide by these Terms and Conditions.
